Is Facebook down?

As Facebook advertisers, we experience it constantly. Ads not submitting, all that work lost, white screens and even being able to access your accounts and pages.

It can frustrate and give us a fright, but a simple link will give you an indication on if there are issues with Facebook\’s systems or if you spin up the support chat.

This page provides the status of major business systems.

We can see here, the three systems:

1. Facebook Ads Manager – The Facebook Ads manager systems and processes. For ads not delivering etc.
2. WhatsApp Business API – the API (Application Programming Interface) for WhatsApp.
3. Transparency Tools – Ads library and other systems.

If we look at the Ads Library issues we can see that there are or have been some disruptions.

Facebook has a light description of the error, which is that the system is having issues accessing data.

If we dig a bit deeper and click the history, we can see even more information.

We have a history and RSS feed button. I have plugged the RSS feed into a newsreader and now get alerts if there is a new status.

If none of this helps, then it\’s straight over to support to log the issue.
